Greg Peterca is a Grammy Nominated producer, music industry professional, creative and educator now based out of Cleveland, Ohio, with an office still located in Chicago, IL.

Over Greg’s professional career he has had the privilege of working with some of the music industry’s biggest names on projects that have received an array of awards and recognition.  He has worked on albums as both a producer and coordinating producer/production manager that have received 11 Grammy nominations along with 2 Gold Records.

Greg has had the honor of working on projects in film, tv, and theater that have been viewed by millions of people.

He has also worked with some top brands like Harpo, Adidas, Miller, Verizon and McDonalds.

Greg started his music industry career as a producer for Chicago based studio and music house, The Rhythm Cafe.  The studio focused on commercial work for some of the world’s biggest brands, creating original music and producing / recording VO’s.

In 2009 Greg was recruited by Grammy winning producer, Donald Lawrence, to run the day-to-day operations of his production company and newly signed imprint record label, Quiet Water Entertainment (Sony Music).  Since then Quiet Water has produced award winning albums, toured around the world, produced a highly acclaimed theatrical piece, worked with charities and agencies like The American Heart Association and even performed at a Presidential Inauguration.  Quiet Water entertainment continues to be one of the top production companies in all of urban music today.

Outside of music related projects Greg has also written and created in both film and tv, with relationships with some of tv’s most watched networks.

Greg was equally passionate when he had the chance to teach at his grad-school alma matter, Columbia College of Chicago from 2012-2018, where he was an adjunct professor teaching freelancing and self-management.  Greg loved working with some of the brightest and creative minds in Chicago and his time was rewarded as he was a semi-finalist for a prestigious professor of the year award.

Greg, his wife Alaina, son Zachary and dog Remy, just re-loacted to Cleveland Ohio after 15 plus years in Chicago to be closer to family and friends.  He’s excited to continue his work for QWE remotely and hopes to bring some of his music industry experience to the town he grew up in.
